Torino will ask Manchester City to extend the loan for goalkeeper Joe Hart, according to Tuttosport (via Football-Italia.net).

The Italian newspaper reports that the Italian side will ask to keep Hart for another year as the Serie A club are keen to keep the England number one, but are unable to afford both City’s asking price for the player, and the player’s sizeable wage demands.

West Ham and a host of Premier League clubs have been linked with the 29 year old in recent months, and with the player stating recently that he has no future at City, it seems likely he will be allowed to leave in the summer once his loan spell ends in Italy.

Hart has reportedly enjoyed his time in Turin, and it seems the feeling is mutual, but it seems unlikely that his parent club Manchester City would permit a second loan spell. They are currently paying most of Hart’s wages, and will no doubt seek to offload the player on a permanent basis.
