West Ham manager Slaven Bilic’s future will be decided at the end of the season, and the Croatian will not be offered a new contract before then, according to the Mirror.

Bilic will have one year left on his existing deal in the summer and reports circulated last week that he was close to agreeing an extension to his current contract to keep him at the London Stadium.

It seems however that one win in six games have placed talks on the backburner once again, and an annual review in the summer, as has become customary under the Sullivan-Gold ownership, will take place to assess Bilic’s performance as manager.

After the same amount of games last season, West Ham were lying sixth in the table with 46 points. This campaign they are 13 points worse off and sit eleventh with ten matches remaining.

Mitigating circumstances such as the move to the new stadium and the departure of Dimitri Payet will no doubt be considered, but Sullivan and Gold will also certainly consider the poor business that was done in the summer transfer window.
