Arsenal and Chelsea have joined West Ham in the race to sign Wolverhampton winger Helder Costa, according to the Sun.

The newspaper reports that Chelsea have been scouting the Portuguese star since the Blues faced Wolves in the FA Cup last month. They reportedly had a representative present during Wolves 1-0 win over Rotherham at the weekend.

Arsenal also are believed to have had a scout at the match, and it seems that they could present West Ham with some competition to sign the 23 year old. The Hammers were linked with Costa last month, and reportedly maintain an interest in the winger.

Wolves only signed the player permanently for £13million in the January transfer window after Costa spent the first half of the season on loan at Molineux. Whether they will be willing to part ways just six months after purchasing the winger will likely be decided by how much Premier League clubs are prepared to pay.

Costa is Wolves’ top goalscorer this season with 10 goals in 37 matches, and he would likely be keen to move up a division but his club, who are owned by a wealthy Chinese consortium, are said to be holding out for £20m or more.
