3. Lewis Cook

Former Leeds midfielder Lewis Cook has long been touted as one of English football’s better prospects since he broke through at Elland Road back in 2014 as a 17-year-old. Now 20, Cook is at Bournemouth where he has sadly suffered from a recurring injury to his ankle, keeping him out of the side. Cook made his debut in Bournemouth’s opening league match to Man Utd in August and looked assured before his injury. There is no doubting Cook’s talent when fit, and based on his achievements in a Leeds shirt there a few more exciting young English talents around.
