4. Winston Reid
It has only been two years since defensive colossus Winston Reid signed a new six-and-a-half-year contract at West Ham, with the New Zealand international’s current deal set to expire in 2021. But Reid has looked a shining light in what has been often a pretty dark season at London Stadium, and has displayed real leadership skills on the field. Reid’s already impressive performances have only improved since Jose Fonte joined the club to partner him at centre back, and some might even say that Reidy should be captaining the side.
