Most West Ham fans can agree that the club have two very talented goalkeepers in the first team squad in Adrian and Darren Randolph.
Since Adrian dropped a clanger at home to Stoke in November the gloves have firmly belonged to Randolph, but a number of shaky performances from the Irishman in recent weeks have called his first team spot into question.
The pair are as different in style as two goalkeepers can be and offer very different advantages to Slaven Bilic’s side – with the Spaniard a charismatic, passionate influence on the squad compared to Randolph’s calm, reassuring presence.
A start for Adrian against Watford on Saturday could well be the final jigsaw piece to fall into place in helping mend Slaven Bilic’s leaky defence, with fellow Iberian Jose Fonte now a mainstay of the back four.
