Bordeaux striker Gaetan Laborde has become the latest forward to be linked with a move to West Ham. Foot01 is reporting that the 22 year old is interesting the Hammers, while Bundesliga side Wolfsburg could be set to rival Slaven Bilic’s side for his signature.

Laborde’s record in Ligue One is not that promising. He has scored just three times in 19 appearances this season, but he has managed four goals in two French League Cup matches.

Bordeaux are said to be reluctant to allow the French Under 20 international to leave and are in the process of offering a contract extension to Laborde. His current deal expires in 2019.

West Ham’s striker search has been continent spanning with links to strikers in France, Italy and Germany, as well as England. The most likely still seems to be a move for a Championship striker with negotiations believed to be ongoing regarding Brentford’s Scott Hogan. The Bees are reportedly holding out for £15m.
