Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla is reporting that West Ham have held preliminary discussions with former Manchester City and Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini.

Pedulla, who worked for prominent sports newspaper the Corriere Dello Sport, before working as a transfer expert on Italian TV and radio staion, says that Mancini has three different clubs interested in his services.

As well as the Hammers, the Italian has been talking to Paris Saint-Germain about taking over at the Parc des Princes after the recent travails of current manager Unai Emery this season. Emery’s side lost 2-1 to Guingamp at the weekend and PSG have now slipped seven points behind Ligue One leaders Nice

Arsenal have also been in touch but are waiting until the end of the season to see what Arsene Wenger’s decision will be about his future at the club. Pedulla believes Mancini would prefer the PSG job if it comes available rather than moving to London.
