Spanish publication Plaza Deportiva are reporting that Valencia’s bid for striker Simone Zaza rests with West Ham asking Juventus for the season long loan to be cut short.

Journalist Juan Carlos Alarcon says that the Spanish club are ready to make their move for the Italian international as and when the forward returns to Juve but the Hammers are yet to make a decision on the player’s future at the London stadium.

Zaza has made 11 appearances for West Ham this season after joining the club in the summer, but he hasn’t scored since his arrival. Manager Slaven Bilic revealed after the Liverpool match that the striker had sustained an injury, and he has not been included in the last two match squads, for the game against the Reds and again versus Burnley last night.

The Hammers boss did however say that Zaza’s future was uncertain but whether that means they will ask Juventus to cut the loan short, or ask for the £20million purchase option to be removed from the loan agreement, it remains to be seen.
