Fenerbahce will attempt to sign West Ham winger Sofiane Feghouli when the window opens next month, reports Turkish football news website Fotomac.

The Algerian international has been a long term target for the Turkish side, and was linked with the player as far back as last January when he was still a Valencia player.

The 27 year old instead joined the Hammers on a free transfer in the summer but has struggled for first team action at the London Stadium this season. Feghouli has started just four times, but did manage his first assist for Andy Carroll’s goal in the 4-1 victory over Swansea City on Boxing Day.

Fotomac report that the Hammers are demanding €15million (£13m) for Feghouli, but the Turkish club would prefer a six month loan move with an option to buy the player at the end of the season.

Fenerbahce manager Dick Advocaat is however considering other options than Feghouli with Manchester United’s Memphis Depay believed to be their first choice January signing.
