Another day, another transfer rumour involving West Ham.
This time, it’s the Lyon forward Rachid Ghezzal who is being linked with the Hammers as well as with London rivals Tottenham with the men from the London Stadium clearly looking to bolster their attacking options.
The Algerian can play down either wing and off of the main striker so that would make him a pretty versatile option to have in the Hammers armoury as they look for players that can score goals this season.
With Simone Zaza not in form and Andy Carroll well out of shape thanks to injuries the club have a real desperate need for strikers so they’ll be hoping, if Ghezzal signs, he could be the answer.
Slaven Bilic may feel that Ligue 1 is the place to be looking this January, then, and we reckon he could sign these three from France, too…
