One area that West Ham have seen the best and worst of footballers in has to be in the wide midfield positions.

Whilst the likes of Manuel Lanzini, Dimitri Payet and Michail Antonio have all impressed out wide, as well as in other roles it has to be said, we’ve also seen players like Gokhan Tore compete and largely fail, so far, to play in that area.

The Turkish international is arguably the worst signing West Ham made in the summer window, up there with Simone Zaza, and suggests that the club may still want to look for extra options out wide in January.

Certainly, that’s what some reports are pointing to with The Mirror, saying that the Hammers are in the race for Galatasaray’s young winger Bruma.

They’ll face competition from the likes of Manchester United will the Hammers but they might just be able to get it through.

Slaven Bilic, then, may be on the lookout for other wingers, too, and we reckon these three could be good options…
