Torino are expected to offer their striker Andrea Belotti a new contract which will have a buyout clause of €50million, according to Italian TV station Sport Mediaset.

The Italian international has been linked with a move to West Ham, along with Arsenal, Leicester City and a host of other clubs, but Torino’s president Urbano Cairo is keen to tie the 22 year old down to a new deal in order to ward off potential suitors.

The basic wage being offered however looks to be pretty modest with Sport Mediaset suggesting Belotti will be given a €1.5million a season to stay with the Italian club.

The forward has had a meteoric rise this season, with eight goals in 10 starts for his club. His exploits at club level have led to international recognition with Italy manager Giampiero Ventura calling up Belotti for the World Cup qualifying matches against Spain, Macedonia and Liechstenstein this season. He has scored three goals in five appearances for his country so far.
