West Ham could miss out on the signings of both Cesc Fabregas and Branislav Ivanovic in the January transfer window, according to reports.

ESPN FC have been told by those close to Ivanovic that the Serbian has no intention of leaving Chelsea in January. The 32 year old is entering the last six months of his contract but is determined to break back into Antonio Conte’s first team plans possibly to earn a new deal.

The Serbia captain has not played since making a late substitute appearance against Southampton at the end of last month and has not started since September.

Fabregas meanwhile is said to only want to leave for a “top European club” according to the Daily Star, and the Spaniard still believes he can work his way back into Antonio Conte’s plan.

His club Chelsea would also prefer the player to leave for a club on the continent although they are willing to pay part of the 29 year old’s wages as part of any loan deal.
