West Ham will attempt to sign Rennes winger and Poland international Kamil Grosicki in the January transfer window, according to Polish publication Przeglad Sportowy.

They report that Slaven Bilic is looking to strengthen his options after a poor start to the season, and that he will look to sign Grosicki, who will be available for about €7million.

The 28 year old was on the verge of joining Burnley at the end of the summer transfer window, but after arriving in the UK with a few hours still remaining before the transfer deadline to sign for the Clarets, complications in the deal led to the transfer collapsing.

At the time, Grosicki explained that the terms of the deal weren’t right to sign for Burnley but he still wanted to play in the Premier League. Przeglad Sportowy also report however that Rennes have two proposals on the table from other Premier League clubs which could make things more complicated for the Hammers.
