Spurs were on the brink of earning themselves Champions League football for the first time but came unstuck on the final day against their east London and a famous bout of sickness before the game, too. The Upton Park crowd showed no mercy though as they went wild when Yossi Benayoun worked himself some space and rattled home, leaving Spurs feeling even sicker than they already were.
