West Ham and Fiorentina are interested in signing Inter striker Stevan Jovetic, according to tuttomercatoweb.com. The former Manchester City player signed for the Serie A side initially on an 18 month loan deal in June last year . He will only sign permanently in the January transfer window but it looks as though the 27 year old is already surplus to requirements.

The Montenegrin has not started for the Italian club this season and Tuttomercatoweb believe the forward wants a move to Fiorentina. He played in Florence for five years between 2008 and 2013 before moving to England, and Viola manager Paulo Sousa is believed to be keen on taking him on.

Slaven Bilic and West Ham have been reportedly scouting the striker as they seek to strengthen their forward line which has failed to fire this season.

It looks like however Fiorentina are in pole position with the Viola seemingly the player’s preferred destination.  A loan move in January, in view to a permanent transfer to Florence, looks to be the most likely outcome.
