Defence is strengthening
Back to back clean-sheets can never be ignored especially with run West Ham’s defence had been on. Last season they looked decent but so far this year they’d been looking too easy to beat. In the last couple of weeks though we’ve seen things improve and this weekend was arguably their best defensive performance of the season as they kept Sunderland out.
