According to Calciomercato in Italy, West Ham could be lining up former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini as a replacement for Slaven Bilic should they decide to sack him.

Mancini has been out of a job since the Summer after Inter Milan dismissed him and was reportedly at Wembley on Saturday after being invited by the FA to watch England beat Malta in a World Cup Qualifier.

Aside from this trip though, the Hammers are thought to be interested the Italian’s signature should the club’s form not improve.

This story is thought to have its origins after West Ham’s loss to Southampton with owners David Gold and David Sullivan both considering a change in management.

Mancini has won the league in this country with Manchester City after Sergio Aguero’s last minute goal secured them the title and has also won three consecutive league championships with Inter Milan as well as a number of cup competitions.
