Andy Carroll looks sharp
He only had two sniffs at goal throughout the game but he took his chances so well. Carroll may not be the most mobile of strikers when West Ham are building up play but if crosses come into the box, the forward comes alive.
Both his goals were taken well and the big number 9 looks sharp before the start of the season. It looks as if a full pre-season is really paying off for Carroll so with a bit of a luck, he may be the striker we can finally rely on this season.
