It would appear as if West Ham have reignited their interest in the Italian forward after being snubbed by Carlos Bacca. The 25 year old scored 5 goals in 19 appearances for Juventus last season and according to reports he would cost a similar amount to Bacca, if this is true I don’t think he’s worth it.
There are cheaper options available who are more prolific than Zaza, and in various interviews with the Italian press the 6ft 1 inch striker has said he wants to stay in Italy. If West Ham continue to pursue the former Sassuolo striker, I can easily see it resulting in rejection like other attempts this summer if he would prefer to stay in Italy.
