Hammers front man Diafra Sakho has handed in a transfer request, according to reports.

The forward is understood to be frustrated with his current situation at the club and is ready to seek pastures new this summer.

Speculation has surrounded the Senegalese forward all summer as West Ham manager Slaven Bilic cannot guarantee Sakho first team football next season.

The 26-year-old has attracted the interest of Sunderland and most recently West Brom and the Hammers are willing to listen to offers within the £15 million region for the forward.

West Ham are currently pursuing the signature of AC Milan forward Carlos Bacca, whilst Mario Gomez could also arrive if Sakho departs the club.

The talented striker, signed from French side Metz in 2014, is an excellent forward when he is fit and firing. Unfortunately for Sakho and West Ham, he has struggled for fitness and this has resulted in him losing his place in the team and it now looks as if the forward could be on his way out of the club.

Sky Sports reported last month that Sakho was looking for clarification on his future after Sunderland made an £11 million bid for the striker.
