Mario Gomez

The German forward is 30 years of age but in great goal scoring form. The former Bayern Munich man is enjoying his time at the European championships having scored 2 goals in 2 games.

Gomez spent last season on loan at Bilic’s old team in Turkey, Besiktas, and scored an impressive 26 goals. Personally, I think Mario Gomez would be a great signing for West Ham and despite his age he is still a prolific striker and that is what is required if the club are to progress and challenge next season.

A striker who scored 26 goals last season is more than welcome at West Ham and he is more likely to adapt to the fast paced league than perhaps a French league player is.
