Mauro Icardi
Of all the strikers I will mention, the Argentinian forward playing for Inter Milan would be the most expensive. Arsenal are said to be interested in the 23 year old amongst some other European clubs, however Icardi has stated that England and the Premier league is his “ideal location”.
West Ham would reap the rewards if they secured the signature of the former Sampdoria man, as he has been described as “quick, tactically intelligent, a physically strong striker, with good technique, and an eye for goal, who can also play off of his team-mates.”
The forward has in the past caused controversy in the Italian media, but if he were to come to east London and build on the 16 goals he scored last season, West Ham fans would warm to him quickly.
