West Ham are interested in securing the signatures of Serbian internationals Adam Ljajic and Nikola Maksimovic, according to reports.

Ljajic, who is currently on loan at Inter Milan from parent club Roma, is a tricky winger who can operate across a number of attacking positions. His playing style is similar to that of former Hammer Yossi Benayoun as the Serbian possesses excellent vision and passing.

According to the Daily Mail, Slaven Bilic is still interested in signing the 24-year-old after he tried to bring Ljajic to Upton Park last summer. Inter Milan have an option to make the deal permanent but are expected to decide against bringing Ljajic to the San Siro.

Ljajic’s fellow Serbian team mate Nikola Maksimovic is attracting the interest of the Hammers, according to Sky Sports.

The Torino centre-back has impressed at the back this season for the Serie A outfit due to his tough tackling and excellent reading of the game.

Sky claim that West Ham have already offered a contract to the 24-year-old as they try and capture new players early this summer.
