5 things West Ham must get right against Everton

Avoiding an overcrowded midfield

noble

In previous games, especially against Watford, some of the players got too crowded in central midfield.

The wide players were being dragged in and this meant that we didn’t have enough width and couldn’t put pressure on the inexperienced left back they had playing.

Against Everton, if Moses and Lanzini start out wide, they must make sure that they stay out on the wing so that we have an outlet, and can get in behind the Everton defence.

Dimitri Payet must also make sure he stays in attacking midfield rather than coming back into central midfield, otherwise he will be less influential and I think if he stays in attacking midfield he can cause slower players such as Gareth Barry an issue.
