The latest striker to be linked with a move to West Ham is Fenerbahce striker Moussa Sow.

The Senegalese forward made his name in the French league where he guided Lille to the Ligue 1 title in 2010-11, scoring 25 league goals in the process.

Currently plying his trade in Turkey, Sow scored 14 times for Fenerbahce and provided five assists last season. Sow usually operates as a centre forward but he can also play on the left hand side of attack, a position he featured in prominently last season. His adaptability could be something that really appeals to Bilic.

According to the Express, West Ham are preparing a lucrative £12 million offer for the forward but whether this actually happens is an entirely different case altogether. It seems strange that the Hammers will not pay £10 million for Mirallas yet try and pursue a striker unproven in the Premier League for a further £2 million on top of Mirallas’ asking price.

Although the price could be a little wide of the mark, there is certainly interest in the attacker as West Ham have been forced to reconsider their attacking targets after Jack Sullivan confirmed earlier this week that the club were struggling to secure some of their main targets.

Here’s how Sow compares with West Ham’s main strike force from last season:
