Diafra Sakho
An obvious one for many, the goals that Sakho has provided have been invaluable. The club’s leading scorer with 8 Premier League goals, Sakho is one of the main reasons for the impressive first half of the season. Sakho’s combination with Valencia allowed Downing to flourish at the start of the season too, with the movement of the front men allowing pockets of space to develop for Downing to exploit. With goals, assists and often defensive capabilities, Sakho has been crucial to the side so far. With his injury currently, I just hope that he isn’t too badly missed.
