After three goals in as many games for Ecuador at the World Cup, West Ham manager Sam Allardyce decided to make Enner Valencia his marquee signing with the striker joining from Mexican outfit C.F. Pachuca.

Since his arrival on Upton Park, Valencia has made four starts in the Premier League plus two substitute appearances. In those six appearances, the 24-year-old has only bagged one goal, however, what a goal it was – I’m sure I don’t need to talk you through the Ecuadorian’s strike against Hull City.

In such a short amount of time, Valencia has already endeared himself to the West Ham faithful with his tireless work ethic and flourishing partnership with goal-machine Diafra Sakho.

It appears that the Irons aren’t they only ones falling in love with Enner after Google produced this nifty graphic highlighting the rise in the striker’s profile since moving to east London for deal that could reach £15million.
