Ross McCormackIt appears West Ham will go back in for the man they missed out on in January.

Football Direct News is reporting that, should Leeds United manager Brian McDermott be sacked, West Ham will pick up Leeds’ captain Ross McCormack.

Sam Allardyce is believed to be a big fan of the Leeds captain and is willing to part with £5million of West Ham’s cash to bring the 27-year-old to Upton Park.

The Scotland international has been in superb form this season, notching 27 goals in 40 Championship games. However, at just over 5 ft 8 inches is the striker really going to be a success under Big Sam’s formation and tactics?

Not going in the right direction for me, money could be spent better else where. £5million is a chunk out of our proxy Lil budget. £10 mill could get us Richards n Sinclair and lesscott, leaves around £10 to get a perement striker and a few loans.

No no no no no. Will they never learn . We have had a string of useless , lower league , strikers who can’t cut it in Premiereship . Ryan you are quite right … you name a couple of quality players who would enhance the squad .

Its not bloody defenders we want..its attackers, some creativity, some goals !!!If McCormack does half as well as his ex Leeds team mate at Norwich, Snodgrass then that would be a result. Whoever we replace the lame and ineffective Nolan with will be a result !
