Malky MackayIt looks like Sam Allardyce’s time with West Ham could be coming to an end, with various reports suggesting Malky Mackay and Michael Laudrup are being considered as replacements for the current Hammers manager.

Big Sam’s relationship with the West Ham faithful has never been plain sailing but it reached breaking point after last night’s 2-1 victory over Hull City. The Hammers gaffer cupped his hand to his ear in response to sections of Upton Park booing at the full-time whistle.

It is believed the board are uneasy with the current anger towards Big Sam and are concerned with the fact that the numbers are increasing who want the former Bolton Wanderers manager sacked.

Macky or Laudrup? Perhaps you have another suggestion? Or maybe you are happy with Allardyce? Let us know below.

Keep Big Sam. He got us promoted, has kept us out of relegation, and is keeping us out of relegation. We need Morris back from loan, why we did that is a mystery, but we will stay out of the zone this year. Sure it sucked yesterday giving up a goal with a 11-10 advantage, but we can’t keep blaming the manager for a team that has a history of doing just that the last few years…

Agree big Sam was perfect to get us promoted & stabilise us first season back , for me we should have parted company after that , his football is boring , direct , and without any flair or imagination , I have supported west ham for 50 years all leagues , home & away , Europe , the lot , I will never go and watch the dross that being served up now , a change is needed , I believe Sam will relegate us given another year , hand on heart I don’t know the replacement but a change of direction is needed ,

So we hang on this season, come next year if we stick with the same game plan and Carroll gets injured because there’s no way he can do a full season. So we get a cover guy to lump the ball up to we will have the same situation. Unless we change our style of play it will be another season of six pointer game as sure as hell. Sam is a great manager for getting us up no argument there. However we have to look ahead to keep up with the big boys. It’s up to the owners to ring in the changes and I think they will or supporters will revolt, after all it’s the supporters who have been loyal for years and they deserve better

Who says West Ham or considering a new Manager, Sam has a long contract. The long ball thing is hard to watch but the PL is what it’s about. With the players we buy we are doing well staying out of the bottom three. OH the boo boys have got to be spuds fan’s

Eddie howe – risk worth taking

  • matt says:

Wish people would stop making up so much ballshit. We r nearly safe we have had shit loads of injuries big sam has took it on chin and bad calls from crappy refs not many mangers would have done what he has so come on you irons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Smiliematt says:

There’s nothing much better available. Laudrup’s a no for me – took on a Brendan Rogers team and lost the plot. Mackay? Maybe. There’s been occasional matches we’ve been far more than a hoof it team and what is very clear is that we have the most fragile confidence. We get nervous and lack self belief. We need a psychologist to sort the mindset, not a change in manager. Clubs that keep changing their managers don’t improve. Weve had so many injuries this season and still on par with last season. Let’s just support the team and club and let the owners decide. COYI

We can´t go on struggling year after year ,and still not getting any better. Got to be a younger new wave manager, someone who believes in football with some pace and can build a younger team(at todays prices we can´t afford to buy one) Uwe Rosler for me, plus he promotes a very good public image.

    • JB says:

I was very impressed with how Uwe got Wigan home against Man City. A very powerful presence & just what you need when the chips are down, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets Wigan promoted & then they’ll keep him of course. If we can’t get Uwe then I can’t see any better replacement at present.

  • East london says:

Definately need to change managers.. He is a one trick pony.. Who spends 11 million on a winger from wolves and 15 million on a striker to stay in the league he totally fucked up on transfers.. Carroll can’t score under him because his build up is too forceful to cut open oppositions and when we sit back in games we invite so much pressure we are literally letting the teams pass us to death until they score a goal in Barcelona fashion he has to go.. Tactics = shit.. Transfers = shit

  • seasider says:

He has to go, for the tripe he has served up that is dark age football. And how could he have spent so much on an injury prone Andy Carroll, whom Brendan Rodgers wanted nothing to do with at Liverpool? Ah, but Rodgers likes his teams to play pure football – not the rubbish served up by Sam the stegosaurus!

  • scott barwick says:

He should have gone in january , he is clueless has no plan B and just uses launching the ball long as his way of getting results, the hull game was a joke if he thins fans should be happy with that rubbish and larfable tactics and substitutions etc then he is more of a joke than I thought, get laudrup in and let’s start playing football again

  • clarettilidie says:

    LAUDRUP = PERFECT
Get rid of carroll bring in a pacy striker and someone to replace jarvis and we’ll be 8th this time next year!

with pride I have been with the irons for over 55 years.I have been excited disappointed frustrated but not to the level of being bored by the predictable football we are now being served with. There is talent in the team that needs to be nurtured to play a good on the floor game the youth is there, together with a blend of senior players that to my aged opinion do not seem to gel with any fluency. So what to do as soon as we are safe get rid of bfs !!! and look for a young manager who is in touch with the modern game and who can work with a somewhat restricted budget who will be respected by players and supporters that know their football IT IS OUR MONEY AND IGNORE US AT YOUR PERIL we have every right to express our thoughts wether at the game home or away.We do not need our players lying on their backs on some couch talking to some sports quack we need a simple ethos AMBITION

  • Bob why says:

I can’t believe some of the comments backing Sam , I can only think these supporters have only been around for a few years and think that football is played in the air !!!!! Look at the great to watch teams they play football on the floor like it should be , that’s why our national team is so far behind the worlds leading sides , Sam should not only go at the end of the season he should retire ,

  • seanus says:

I too am a fan for high on 50 yes and seen my fair share of the good, the bad and the ugly football and managers In that time I have never left a match feeling numb After a victory. I am not a supporter of Sam and also not called for his head yet as he is the manager and is being paid to do a job. My point is his total obsession with Carroll’s head and Nolan’s foot. His whole tactic is to get the ball to Carroll’s by what ever means usually by wingers crossing. He seems to dislike playmaking midfield hence we always give up that are at the start as all direction is to the wing. Hence if wingers are marked everyone plays backward and then its hoof it up.Playmaking midfielders like Diane playing on the wing,Joe always a sub and only thing introduced late to appease the crowd or loaned out like Ravel.
I left the match and did not go for a pint to celebrate but went home and the missus said looking at your face I take it they lost again. It says it all. Maybe its time to call it a day and safe the costs of my travel , season ticket and items bought at the shop and watch the drivel on TV.
Surely DG must be as depressed as me but he can do something about it !!

  • beckton Geoff says:

This really hurts to say this but I’ve really had enough and i can assure you all i am not alone with this one but, If Gandalf and the hobbit keep BFS next season then ill keeping my season ticket money and will become an armchair supporter. Ill go and see the daggers play football yes the daggers much more entertaining then watching BFS one dimensional football .im am truly sorry west ham but I can not watch this any more , i will always be a west ham fan but I will not spend my money there while BFS is there ☹.

  • Hammer64 says:

Glen Hoddle for me,will get us playing decent football on the floor, bring back the flair and entertainment Glen, you know it makes sense.

  • b venour says:

i agree with hammer 64 someone like hoddle we need to turn a average team with some decent players into a great team again with flair and panache

    • steviez says:

You 2 want Hoddle OMG if that happened we would have 11 headless chickens running around the field, at the minute there’s no one . Forget Hoddle he’s useless not a clue has that man got

      • the swindon hammer says:

me and my boy live in Swindon and go and watch the town play when hoddle took Swindon up to the prem the football they played that season was incredible so tell me why he could not do that for westham?

  • ArrogantSamOut# says:

    Uwe Rossler.

  • ray says:

Michael Laudrup would be great we have to move on look sam is a good manager but we want a great manager we are not getting the anybetter as a team and for us to get better we need a new direction oh yeah and glen hoddle is sh*t bring back harry !!!!

  • JB says:

Uwe Rosler is the man. He was a powerhouse in getting Wigan past Man City & into the cup semi final. Watch, if Wigan just miss out on promotion then West Ham should go for him, otherwise, if he does get Wigan promoted then I’ll say they’ll keep him. No one springs to mind as a suitable replacement, & isn’t Glen Hoddle the one who speaks twaddle, saying things like dissabled supporters have got their lot in life due to bad kharma from a previous lifetime. If he were to speak that sort of lunatic tongue to our players, he’d have their brains in a mess in no time. They’ve been through enough already. I think the former Hull manager Phil Brown hit the nail on the head when he said we have to accept who we are & where we are. We are not a big club & there is never a guaranteed spot amongst the elite clubs. There is no guarantee we’ll get there soon. Even the once super Spurs are having trouble getting back there, so stop expecting us to become a really big club soon. We have to be very careful, as moving into a big stadium requires a big team to fill it, & if we aren’t big enough, we won’t get it full & with enough atmosphere. I could only see Harry making us into a really big team & attracting big name signings, but Harry is getting on a bit. He’s past 65, & with the move to the stadium 2 years away, what do want someone who’s nearly 70 in charge. If we can’t get Harry now, then stick with Sam & maybe get Rosler when we are closer to our move to the OS
