It has been reported that West Ham will look to bring in some younger players this summer to freshen up their ageing squad.
According to Football Direct News, one of the first in the door could be Chelsea’s Ryan Bertrand – who is currently on loan with fellow Premier League side Aston Villa.
Despite having three years remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge, it is thought the left-back will be looking for a move away from Chelsea as Jose Mourinho continues to be linked with a move for Southampton’s Luke Shaw.
With talk continuing that Sam Allardyce will look to make Pablo Armero’s loan move from Napoli a permanent one and now this talk of Bertrand, could George McCartney’s time as a Hammer be coming to an end?
