Papiss CisseWest Ham’s start to the transfer window hasn’t gone as planned with Everton’s John Heitinga rejecting the club and now – according to the Chronicle – Newcastle United have rejected a move for Papiss Cisse by the Hammers.

Cisse is right down the striker pecking order at St James’ Park and it is believed the Senegal intertional is concerned about his future after finding himself on the substitutes bench for three straight months.

The former Freiburg striker has managed 22 goals for the Geordies but 13 of those came in the first six months of his Newcastle career.

The last bit of business West Ham and Newcastle did was back in 2011 when Kevin Nolan moved north to south and, given his recent misdemeanors, you’d imagine the majority of Hammers are wishing it never happened!

It will probably be another player that doesn’t want to come to West ham because of the Management.

No one wants to play sam’s formations that’s why no one wants to come to west ham.something has to give either Sam plays 442 or a 3232 or pay twice as much as someone else to get these players

Rather have Ba! As not many teams play 4-4-2 these days why can’t we play a second striker off our main one? Bursting from midfield to link up play and score from knock downs etc? Bit like Nolan only with pace and the ability to hit the back of the net regularly! Also don’t understand why when we are linked with a 2nd,striker it is always to play as a winger? When we have decent wingers and the team would benefit from said 2nd striker playing more as a 10! Especially when we have ample cover from players who can play defensive midfield. We have nothing to loose with Nolan out! its the ideal time to try something different! Who knows it maybe the way forward even at the expense of Nolan’s future at the club?
