Dirk KuytWest Ham’s search for a striker has now taken them to Turkey, according to Sports Direct News.

The website is reporting that Sam Allardyce is interested in signing former Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt but faces competition from Premier League rivals Fulham.

You’d have to question – like you should all rumours – the credibility of the story considering the Netherlands international has started 17 league games for Galatasaray, this season and has amassed seven goals.

With doubts forever to remain over Andy Carroll’s fitness, Modibo Maiga linked with a move away and Carlton Cole now a free agent, the Hammers are in desperate need for some firepower and fast.

Apparently CC contract ran out yesterday or today. Who is controlling these things, a monkey???
Now palace or qpr want him because of this!!!!!
Traore work permit has strangly been delayed, just liked the Italian strikers, one has said he is not sure because he thinks that whu are not serious. another claims we are not interested any more because of duel ownership.
Why is it that nobody seems to know who we are after, it was a lot easier when the first any body knew who was signed was when they were introduced at the press conference, after signing. None of this garbage that is going on these days!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’ll be like the last window. All smoke and mirrors from Sully and Gold. We are more likely to end up with out of contract dross!!!

Carlton is still in talks, we’re very likely to get Traore on loan. According to sky sports were getting Lescot on Loan.

  • Steven says:

Carlton Cole has scored goals since his comeback that any professioal striker should score…..tap ins he has also missed sitters .
Yes he is loyal but he is next to useless I have never seen such a big guy fall over at any contact and he jumps like he has deep sea divers boots on.
Let him go please please let’s move on with real quality.
West Ham fans are too emotional about him when you really analyse his contribution he just makes up the numbers and is only of nuisance value.
If he was any good another premiership club would have snapped him up he is not even wanted by championship teams.

IT IS PROBABLY TIME TO GIVE ANOTHER YOUNGSTER A CHANCE JORDON SPENCE HAS BEEN HELD -BACK FOR TOO LONG, HE WAS OUTSTANDING IN THE REPLAY AT OLD -TRAFFORD LAST YEAR,PLAYED WITH NO FEAR, HE COULD PROVE TOO BE A REVELATION,RIO FERDINAND FIRST CAME INTO A WEST HAM SIDE IN SIMILAR CIRCUMSTANCES.

  • alan says:

RELATING TO ABOVE COMMENT IT IS PROBALY NOT JUST UP FRONT WHERE PROBLEMS EXIST, ALTHOUGH ALL FOUR FULL-BACKS ARE VERY STEADY, A LITTLE-BIT OF YOUTHFULL EXUBERANCE WOULDENT GO A-MISS.
