Mikael SilvestreI’m already dreading the comments that will appear on this story.

Sports Direct News are reporting that former Arsenal and Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre would be open to joining West Ham.

Silvestre currently plies his trade for Portland Timbers in the MLS but as they’re in the off-season, a loan deal is being considered to help ease the Hammers’ defensive woes.

Also, before I go, West Ham hero Freddie Piquionne also plays for the Timbers…anyone else fancy a double loan deal?

    being polite now
not even if he was the last defender in the world(which of course he is not, THANK GOD!!!!!)

      All,
completely agree. He was poor surrounded by better players (not difficult) at Man Utd and is an example of atrocious French international selection policy which explains why they have struggled in all tournaments for a while.
Would rather give an academy player the chance if all current defenders were injured than play this clown.

PS no b****y way to the second part. Even though he is in the states it would be difficult to get rid off, even on loan!!!!!!!!
