Can West Ham learn a few things from Norwich City?

Martin OlssonSome of the best transfer deals done, so far in this window, have been pulled off by Norwich City. The recent signings of Martin Olsson and Nathan Redmond, show that the Canaries mean business for the upcoming season. At one point West Ham were linked with both players and I remained optimistic that we could sign both of them at some point.

Olsson and Redmond are still very young and have years ahead of them in the game. Redmond has obtained many admirers over the last couple of seasons and can switch from either wing (an area we are currently weak in); as for Olsson. it appeared that a deal could be struck in the January transfer window but a fee wasn’t agreed, playing as a left back he could of provided competition/cover for newly signed Ravzan Rat.

Realistically we are not the richest club and we can’t sign every player the press links us to, but I think that Norwich have pulled off a couple of great transfers here, I hadn’t expected Norwich to be fierce competition but with their current signings Olsson, Redmond and Ricky Van Wolfswinkel how much of a threat could the 3 prove to be?

Although we have signed some decent players I feel that we often get ripped off, over £10 million paid for Matt Jarvis is a prime example of that, and considering Norwich paid £2 million for Redmond.

Could we learn a thing or two from Norwich on transfer dealings?

Norwich Fans getting a bit delirious it seems or someone’s just nicked one of their turkeys.
Look I’m not going to slate Norwich as a football club as they’ve always IMO been a very well run club and do believe they were shocked towards the end of last season when they hovered near relegation.
The new players they’ve bought in are now going to be the 3 biggest players at the club along with their goalkeeper and can’t honestly see them going down.

Lets just see what the big man sam has in is pocket

The best signing that Norwich will make for the coming season will be if they persue the transfer of Gary Hooper from Celtic,a bargain at current prices.
