SEVEN steps to the perfect West Ham player

|

1. James Tomkins’ looks – Well let’s start with the most important stuff, eh? Ok so the majority of you reading this won’t care at all what the perfect footballer looks like, but it is definitely a bonus for us female fans! And just think, if they look as good as Tomkins, they’ll attract a nice looking WAG for you to look at!

Are you on Facebook? Excellent, so are we http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/ForeverWestHamcom/200938616608282

2. The passion of Paolo Di Canio – You just need to watch an interview with Di Canio to see how much passion he has, even as a manager rather than a player. He was incredibly enthusiastic in the claret and blue uniform of West Ham United, and I would definitely put a dash of him in my perfect player!

3. Determination of Scott Parker – Although he’s not at the club anymore and left us for Spurs, I haven’t heard a bad word said about Scotty P. He put his body on the line more times than I can remember, and made some bloody great tackles. And then there’s his evident skill at helping with team talks. All in all, I think every footballer should have a bit of Parker in them.

4. Tackle of Julian Dicks – He was pretty no nonsense when it came to tackling, and The Terminator was also a bit of a nutcase on the pitch. West Ham love a nutter, and Julian is definitely a hero among Hammers.

5. Loyalty of Carlton Cole – I know some of you won’t have a good word to say about Carlton, but I think he has a great quality that needs to be added to the perfect player – loyalty. He took a pay cut to stay at West Ham and calls it his home; even though some of you wish he’d picked another destination!

6. Love for the club of Mark Noble – This guy lives and breathes West Ham. You know that he’ll do his best as he’s a fan just like us.

7. The class of Bobby Moore – The word ‘legend’ is an overused one, but this man definitely fitted the bill. He was a great leader and a great footballer, and you couldn’t have the perfect player without a bit of Bobby! As the board keep reminding us, we’re ‘Moore than just a football club.’
