One of those nights?

|

In answer to my own question, our chances of beating Manchester City on Saturday are slim, very slim; but not impossible.

Are you on Facebook? Excellent, so are we http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/ForeverWestHamcom/200938616608282

To put it in context, we are playing one of the best funded sides in the world, and that wealth has acquired a plethora of top talent that Roberto Mancini has at his disposal.

Manchester City won the Premier League last year. West Ham came third in the Championship. So in many respects, this is the game that has the biggest gulf between any two teams in the Premier League this year.

On paper, West Ham has no chance whatsoever.  So how can we get anything from this game?  Of course, the West Ham players are really going to have to “turn up” this week, something that Jussi Jaaskelainen said they did not do at Wigan Athletic.

So not only do they have to turn up, they also have to bring their “A” games with them to stand a chance.  But as I was thinking about the game, I remembered that the game is at 5:30, and this is what has given me the greatest hope.

By that time it will be getting dark and the floodlights will be on.  With the lights on, and the atmosphere electric, West Ham might just have “one of those nights,” a night that we could remember, a night that goes down in history.

Ever dreamt about getting paid for reading about West Ham? Well now you can make dreams a reality http://bit.ly/ffc-foreverwestham-lp
