FIVE things we learnt against City

|

West Ham entertained Premier League Champions at The Boleyn Ground. After a hard fought draw here’s 5 things we learnt from the match.

Are you on Facebook? Excellent, so are we http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/ForeverWestHamcom/200938616608282

1. Linesmen don’t always always get it right. Unfortunately Kevin Nolan’s goal was incorrectly waved for offside, if we’d have gone 1-0 up so early we’d probably have lost but nonetheless the call was wrong. 2. We can mix it with the big boys. Our hard fought defeat against Arsenal showed we are on the right road but this match showed we can match the top clubs on our day.

3. We shouldn’t worry about our fixture list. With the Premier league as it is we can be competitive with most clubs but we can also lose to the likes of Wigan Athletic. Thus our upcoming fixture list shouldn’t be feared but embraced. 4. We have faith in Andy Carroll. His game isn’t just about scoring goals, it’s also about of things such as going down in the box. We all love the ponytailed striker and no doubt he’ll score soon.

5. We all still love Carlos Tevez. From addressing the West Ham fans before kick off to not converting his chances. You’ve got to love the Argentinian with a love for the East End. Follow Tim @timsyouruncle
