Demba-Ba-West-Ham-Liverpo-007West Ham are set to try again to bring Chelsea’s Demba Ba back to Upton Park, according to the Daily Express.

The Hammers have tried on several occasions to bring back Ba – who spent six months with the Irons in 2011 – and failed most recently in the summer.

It isn’t known whether the former Newcastle United striker will be interested in a rejoining the East London club, as he still has aims of Champions League football.

One thing in the Hammers favour is the fact that the Senegal international is third choice striker for Chelsea with Jose Mourinho preferring Fernando Torres and Samuel Eto’o.

Would you welcome back Ba? Is he the answer to all our problems?

I would welcome demba ba back , but would he be interested ? I think lambert would be ideal , experienced premiership & more realistic championship player , at 32 still got 3/4 years of playing can play up front lone striker or play just off front player , £8million could end up being a bargain if we do stay up , I think Collins , Tompkins , Reid will all be back soon enough ( probably two by the Cardiff match ) so I think we should be looking for a leader on the pitch ( not Nolan ) and lambert / ba / Rhodes , fingers crossed

  • mick dagenham says:

We wont get ba or anyone descent. Who the hell wants to come to a struggling club with a shit manager that hasnt got a clue.
He will play one up front till we go down cos thats what you do when your struggling for goals. Its time the dildo bros told him to f**k off and take your poxy pet nolan with ya. Cu*t …

what a farce this season is turning into, Nolan a Pro – my arse. captain to lead the team, he wants off. I think its about time we got rid of the dead wood, and take a tip from teams like Southampton, villa & alike & got younger players in with some pride & fight.

  • dave(jersey) says:

As you can gather we are rather peeved with theantics of Kevin nolan.

we met him at the training ground a while back and he seemed nice , but come on Kevin!!

its unacceptable to be sent off twice in the space of 2, yes 2 months , please relinquish

the captaincy to Mark Noble . Get Demba Ba on loan till the end of the season, what ever cost! please mr Gold& mr Sullivan do the right thing, i pay lots to come and see the team

    FROM JERSEY.

Mercenary ? It’s his fucking job! Do you think that if we sign Lambert it’s because he relishes a relegation battle as it will be a new experience for him ? Get real, with BFS in charge money is the ONLY attraction we can offer.
Ba doesn’t want to come back, can you blame him ?

  • Will says:

I would take ba back but only for the right price we took a gamble on him with his premier league breakthrough and he repayed us by activating his release clause when we went down think he owes us

  • dan romford says:

F**k big sam and he’s long ball tactics all west ham do is boot the ball long its boring…. As for nolan I’m well glad he’s gona miss 4 games bring ravel morrison back …. I would take ba all day he scoes goals he’s decent much better than miaga…. Carrolls been a waste of money! Get ba and defoe well be alright….

  • Spanner says:

You know what really pisses me off about the current position, lack of young talent, who are out on loan or sitting in the development squad not breaking through, take young Elliot Lee currently leading striker in the whole club or young Moncur, a very good ball player, does Sam or the club think we would be in any worse position playing new the future of talent, oh yeah on the Lee topic his brother we let go for free “Oliver” is now a first team regular at Birmingham, guess he will get his revenge next yr, well done Brady

What a farce this season is we are going down it doesn’t matter who the hell they bring in the team is just not good enough thanks to the two David’s and Fat Sam we are the laughing stock of the football league.Championship here we come

  • the swindon hammer says:

listen fellas personally id try and get defoe apparently he would come back but ba did well for us and yes he was quick to jump ship when we went down but WE NEED GOALS and I would take anyone who nets us a few points

  • g.c says:

Get demba ba and defoe in and with carroll hopefully near fitness we can mix it up with the 3 of them, but he only plays this one up front system and I think if bfs had been braver we would have picked up more than 1 point in our last 2 games

  • Deano says:

Does it really matter? We are going down. We had five more points under grant at the same stage. Demba Ba came In played well scored goals and we still went down. It seems as though the David’s are really trying to mimic that fateful year down to every detail. How fing stupid. Sam should of went yesterday. Why wait till we lose to Cardiff?

  • bristol hammer says:

Lambert would be perfect for west ham, at BRFC we all new he would become premiership bound one day id love to see him at the boleyn hes got that natural poachers instinct I prefer him to carroll but they would be deadly toegether. Ba yeah would keep us up but we’d have to give him back at somepoint, lets build a team to be feared not laughed at. Nolans a discrace two reds is bad but for kicking out at annother player twice time to go, I like sam but not his formation so its lambert and carroll up front simple.

  • bristol hammer says:

Theres no way defoe would come back he dont need the money or the agro hortible little cunt anyway fuck off to the states

  • unhappy hammer says:

We need two forwards ba and defoe would be good. I don’t no how bristol hammer can say that, do you not want to get out of the shit we are in or not. get rid of sam and we might get some good players sign for us. PACK YOUR BAGS SAM AND DO THE RIGHT THING F@#k offffffffffffff.
