Graham Potter is reportedly close to making his first major summer signing, according to West Ham insider ExWHUEmployee.
The Hammers are yet to make any notable signings this window, with most of the transfer talk regarding the club centred around Mohammed Kudus’ links to Spurs.
It has been reported, however, that the club are ‘hopeful’ they will be able to soon agree a deal for Slavia Prague left-back El Hadji Malick Diouf, Ex has stated on The West Ham Way Patreon.

The 20-year-old, who scored seven goals in 24 league games last season, has been undertaking an individual training programme in preparation for a potential move to the Hammers.
The Guardian have previously reported that the Czech champions will only be willing to let Diouf go for a fee of £20million.
Hammers show interest in young Serie A goalkeeper
Ex also revealed on the West Ham Way Patreon that the club are in ‘advanced talks’ with Palma’s Zion Suzuki.
The 22-year-old kept eight clean sheets last season, while he also made the fifth most saves in the league with 100.
Suzuki missed just one game for Parma last season, and the player also has 18 caps to his name for Japan.

The player’s current market value is €20 million, but no official fee has been agreed yet.
A goalkeeper will undoubtedly be on Potter’s radar this summer following Lukasz Fabianski’s departure from the club, and with Suzuki having had so much experience at such a young age, this could be an exciting signing for the Hammers should they get the deal over the line.
