West Ham have reportedly made contact with Dinamo Zagreb over the availability of forward Mislav Orsic in the summer, according to Football Insider – leading to jubilation among Irons fans.
The 28-year-old has 19 goals in all competitions this season and perhaps a surge in popularity, particularly with Hammers, following a hat-trick that eliminated Tottenham from the Europa League.
Orsic has been somewhat of a journeyman thus far in his career, enjoying spells in Slovenia, South Korea and China prior to pitching up back in his homeland.
David Moyes will be on the lookout for potential options to bolster his ranks as the Hammers eye-up a European adventure next term.
The links with Orsic have certainly got tongues wagging on Twitter…
haha love this, would be a good signing.
