Angelo Ogbonnna tweeted about Arsenal last Saturday evening, summing up all of our feelings of it being a hard one to take and proclaiming his excitement about going again next Sunday.
This is exactly the kind of attitude we want in this situation. Of course, we’re in a relegation scrap and it’s serious, but we still get excited about the matches and we want the players to be up for them, too.
At the Emirates, Ogbonna was a rock at the back once more, winning four aerial duels and helping to restrict the Gunners to just two efforts on target – he should have left with a clean sheet.
It’s certainly surprised me the way that the Italian has performed this campaign and he’s surely got to be in the Hammer of the Year running regardless of what happens.
