The Premier League may have only been postponed for a couple of days so far, but talk of how this season might or might not end has been rife.
Karren Brady dropped us in it last weekend by suggesting that the campaign should be voided if all the matches can’t be completed.
Other suggestions have included playing out the rest of 2019/2020 behind closed doors and delaying it beyond the suspension period, possibly postponing Euro 2020 in the process.
One of the more tongue-in-cheek ones came from a Twitter account that suggested the league could be decided with a WWE Battle Royal over the top elimination match, with one player from each team taking part.
They also asked fellow fans who the West Ham competitor should be and various suggestions have been put forward for the hypothetical Premier-League-deciding scenario…
Antonio, the only option surely?
Any other suggestions? PLEASE do explain why 🤨 https://t.co/dscgxMw5tA

He’d injure himself jumping off the top rope, I’d choose Declan Rice just because I think he’d go absolutely mental to win it!

Haller in the hope that everyone thinks he’s gormless so we won’t go near him that’s bullying and then he randomly turns it on and wins it

Noble, think Antonio would be the one to try and get someone out and accidentally do it to himself
