We were treated to a heart-warming start to our day on this Thursday morning as the club’s official account posted a video message of goodwill from Declan Rice.

However, the more eagle-eyed fans among us have been light-heartedly picking out flaws in Rice’s loving statement.
Firstly, though, what does he mean when he says that the players will be back out on the pitch soon making us happy? Because our current season far from suggests that they’ll be able to do that when the football resumes.
Secondly, he rightly states that we should be following the government advice, but didn’t he have a kickabout with someone who was supposed to be in self-isolation last weekend?
Maybe the club should have chosen a different key player to do that clip.
