A Tweet from a West Ham fan has got loads of us looking ahead to a truly special moment amid the Covid-19 outbreak.
The supporter tweeted on Wednesday lunchtime to urge supporters, regardless of whether you love or loath London Stadium, to imagine that moment when the skipper leads us out for the first time when football’s back – singing Bubbles as loud as we can after a couple of beers with our mates, heaven.
I think all any of us want at the moment is for normality to resume as quickly as possible and with it the football, I for one can’t wait.
As one fan eluded to in the comments, it doesn’t even matter if we’re losing, just having our club and our sport back will be the best feeling, regardless.
At present, that’s due to happen at home to Watford on Saturday 2nd May but it could be further away than that, unfortunately…
I like that. 👍

When West Ham lose it ruins my weekend, when I was a kid it made me cry but I would do anything to get this world back to normal and happily suffer a dodgy injury time pen at old Trafford. Stay safe, stay in and let’s smash this bloody virus! Coyi ⚒
