To mark the 14th anniversary of his superb double in the FA Cup quarter-final at Manchester City, the club has produced some absolutely cracking Dean Ashton content this week.
Firstly, we were treated to a video of the man himself watching back his many wonderful goals in claret and blue and now they’ve posted a charming clip of his two sons having a look at the strikes with him.
Imagine discovering that your dad was such a deadly finisher in front of goal and what about some of those efforts!
We may have been robbed of one of our most eye-catching strikers in Ashton by injury, but perhaps in the future one of Ethan or Lucas will be able to don our jersey and bang them in just like his old man did.
Here’s the best of the Tweets as fellow West Ham fans on social media absolutely lapped up what our official account had Tweeted out…
That’s absolutely magic. Great kids. Very under-rated overhead at Man Utd. I was there that day and I think that was the only time we touched the ball!
