It’s the second week of #HammersRewind on Twitter and for the next seven days, the club will be posting some of the best long-range strikes in our history.
When you think about it, there’s been some absolutely mesmeric screamers from down the years.
Set your mind as far back as Bobby Moore and that incredible run and long-range finish at Upton Park we see endlessly on highlight reels.
Then there’s Paolo Di Canio’s wonder goal at Stamford Bridge and more recently, Pedro Obiang’s surreal effort at Tottenham Hotspur.
The club kicked it off with a fairly recent one on Monday afternoon, Arthur Masuaku against Bolton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup in 2017/2018 and as with Obiang, we haven’t seen Masuaku do anything remotely similar since and probably never will.
We’ll kick things off with this strike!#HammersRewind ⏮ https://t.co/EyXL0Gf1Ax pic.twitter.com/Y9rQHitBIm
