Lots of fellow West Ham fans on social media have been refuting a controversial claim made by Football.London journalist Bobby Vincent.
Vincent has written a feature on how Daniel Sturridge could be the answer to our lack of attacking consistency so far this season.
Where do we even start with this?
The striker is currently banned from all football until June 17, so he will be eligible by the summer transfer window but his actions hardly bode well.
Then there’s his injuries, just the 24 of them in his career thus far, causing him to miss a remarkable 745 days of work as a professional footballer and no fewer than 136 matches.
You’d like to think that we’ve learned from being lumbered with the likes of Andy Carroll and Jack Wilshere in recent years.
By all means, get a forward in the summer, not this one though…
I can quite comfortably say he isn’t https://t.co/jaB2HjqftR

No he really couldn’t.
This is typical of the West Ham that Moyes wants to banish— Damien Lucas (@damienlucas) March 25, 2020

Behave. We still have Wilshere and Reid and only just got rid of Carroll
