He’s there every single game, the engine in the middle, the glue holding the side together and we’re extremely lucky to have been able to produce and utilise such a player.
On Saturday, Declan Rice reached a huge milestone – 100 first-team appearances for West Ham.
It feels like yesterday when he was first given a run in the team by Slaven Bilic and he’s rarely missed a match since – and he’s now a mainstay of the England midfield.
He even marked the occasion in typical style with a Rice-esque commanding performance in the centre of the park after he had walked out of the tunnel singing bubbles and gave a signed shirt to a young supporter after the game.
Fellow fans were quick to comment as he tweeted to celebrate his 100th outing…
Dec once again fantastic performance. Watching you grow as a player has been a pleasure for us fans to watch. 🤞 to making it to 250 appearances in claret and blue 🙏🙏⚒️⚒️⚒️
